Activities in Tänndalen and Funäsdalen
From the cabin in Hamra you reach the whole of Funäsfjällen. The lift is 270 metres away and the cross-country trails 500 metres. Here is what there is to do, in winter and in summer.
Winter
- Downhill skiing – 53 runs and 12 lifts in Tänndalen and Hamra, on a single lift pass covering all of Funäsfjällen.
- Cross-country skiing – 300 km of groomed trails in Nordic Ski Center, starting 500 metres from the door.
- Snowmobiling – 600 km of trails, guided tours and snowmobile hire a few hundred metres away.
Summer
- Hiking – over 60 waymarked trails, from a family walk to Helagsfjället.
- Cycling – MTB and gravel roads for the whole family, straight from the cabin.
- Fishing – char, trout and grayling in over 200 lakes and waterways on a shared permit.
All year round
- Spa and relax – Fjällnäs Mii Gullo Spa and Tänndalens Fjällhotell.
- Families with children – nursery slopes, sledging, dog sledding and easy walking trails.
- Shopping – supermarket, Systembolaget, pharmacy and sports shops in Funäsdalen.
